Yohji Yamamoto’s brand new two-storey duplex showcases a masterful blend of form and function, drawing inspiration from the concrete jungle that characterises Hong Kong. Housing a number of the Japanese designer’s collections including the Asia-exclusive L’odeur Yohji Yamamoto, the store is an ode to the subterranean structures of our ever-evolving city.

The re-designed conceptual space celebrates the Maison’s signature monochromatic palettes, with steel and concrete constructions that reflect monumental scale. Enlarged beams with varying heights and exposed concrete structures, ventilation ducts and pipes draw the eye upward, while cement panels, galvanized steel plates, and metal mesh highlight an overall constructivist aesthetic.
A staircase of steel wires and shelves cut diagonally connecting the two floors, where visitors can explore the clothing collections along with accessories and leather goods. From Yohji Yamamoto, Yohji Yamamoto POUR HOMME,discord Yohji Yamamoto, Yohji Yamamoto Eyewear, as well as the aforementioned L’odeur Yohji Yamamoto, discover the asymmetry and tension emblematic of the Japanese designer at the K11 MUSEA store today.
