Striving to build sustainable communities, New World Development CEO and K11 Founder Adrian Cheng shares his New World Sustainability Vision 2030 (SV2030) with BBC StoryWorks as part of World Green Building Council’s ‘Building a Better Future’ series.
Reflecting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the SV2030 focuses on four core pillars including Green, Wellness, Smart, and Caring to create shared value for the community. Cheng’s vision is exemplified by the group’s commitment to reduce its energy and carbon emissions intensity by 50% by 2030.
